A word from the priest
Dear pilgrims for the heavenly Jerusalem, welcome to the parish of Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin.
You are worthy to be served. Let me appreciate who you are:
"You are a chosen descendant, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people destined for salvation, that you may proclaim the wonders of him who called you from darkness to his wonderful light. »
This call to light is the reason for our pilgrimage. And we have Christ and his Word as our light. (See John 8:12; Psalms 119:105)
Many have preceded us in this journey. They let the Word dwell in them. The biblical tradition presents them as models. With Saint Thomas Aquinas as a witness, in the great cloud of these heavenly witnesses (Hebrews 12:1.22-24), we can be sure that God's grace will teach us and perfect us.
This grace is a person (Titus 2:11-13). She has made herself a body, the Church (Colossians 1:18). The Church, in its pilgrim dimension, remains "assiduous[faithful] to the teaching of the Apostles and to fraternal communion, to the breaking of bread and prayers. " (Acts 2:42)
So, together, let us form this community every day. It is called by Christ, only by Him. Let us remain faithful to his teachings (Bible, tradition and magisterium). Let us live assiduously in the service of one another.
May the Lord carry us on his eagle wings and bless us!
